How do you like to connect? For the longest time I felt myself pulled away from events because I didn't feel welcome there. I wanted to have a conversation, meet a new friend, enjoy a tasty snack...possibly all at the same time! But most of all I wanted to feel welcome.
I have tried to curate all of my Community Building events so all attendees will at the very least feel welcomed, and at the very best feel like they made a connection with another person.
Art Night IS BACK FROM HIATUS starting February 5. Please see the Events Calendar below for upcoming dates, and to RSVP.
"I looked forward to Art Night pre-pandemic but since like everything has been cancelled, I love that Art Night is still continuing virtually. I just appreciate it so much more now. It helps me get some crafty fun projects completed by providing a scheduled time and support. They are an amazing group of people and I love seeing all the fun things people are working on!” Krista-Lee
You don't have to know anything about art, or be an artist, or even like art to join us at Art Night! It usually looks like 2 -5 people sitting around the table in my home, chatting, eating snacks, and working on some crafty project. During the Pandemic, it looks like 4-7 people sitting in their own homes, connected online.
And we CHAT! And connect. And tell stories about our lives in a supportive environment, where the person sitting beside you has a story of her own that kind of sounds like yours.
And we work on our art, or craft project. Or not.
Sounds simple, but it is also glorious.
I'm a big fan of setting goals, but I have always struggled with the "achievement" part of the equation. Enter Accountability Club. A-Club gives members a chance to hang out with other goal-focused folks within a supportive environment. At each meeting we review our past Action Items, why we did (or did not) achieve them, problem solve and listen, and offer non-judgemental accountability towards our goals.
A-Club 2021 Registration Opens February 2021
We will start accepting new folks into Accountability Club in February 2021. Click here for more information.

Chasing Sunbeams & Big Ideas
More Info Coming Soon!
I get my best ideas when I'm out walking in my community. "Chasing Sunbeams & Big Ideas" came out of that. It's a walking club for residents in the Ritchie-Hazeldean-Strathcona communities of Edmonton. While the launch is currently on hold, I am always available for a long walk with a friend. Get in touch to "book" your hour with me!
